METHODOLOGY
helping you establish
Kingdom culture & missional DNA
Cypress is driven by its vision to see every man, woman, and child experience repeated opportunities to hear, see, and respond to the Gospel — which means raising up Kingdom-minded people to live as missionaries in their daily spheres of influence. Whether you’re a pastor or business owner, a volunteer in ministry or an employee in the marketplace, you play a crucial role in displaying God’s glory as his Kingdom ambassador.
Our mission is to equip believers as missionary disciples through collaborative, immersive training experiences focused on:
TRANSFORMATION
of people from church-minded believers to Kingdom-minded disciples
MOBILIZATION
of Gospel-transformed people as missionaries where they live, learn, work, & play
COLLABORATION
among churches and organizations doing the same
MULTIPLICATION
of more missionary disciples, leaders, & churches to saturate communities with the Gospel

This eight-hour workshop will help your team look beyond the latest program to focus on establishing strong missional DNA in your church. We'll explore the foundational elements of Cypress (Movement, Kingdom, Harvest, Disciple) in order to cultivate and contextualize the principles that will help your church to make and mobilize missionary disciples.
The Cypress Residency was designed to complement already existing residencies by coming alongside sending organizations to provide a missiological track for their resident church planters. Most church planting residencies cover leadership formation, doctrine, theology, ministry models, and ecclesiology, but still miss the vision for “every man, woman, and child”. We aim to bridge that gap and help teams plant churches FOR their cities FROM the harvest.
What if every business leader, employee, and graduate entering the workforce believed that work isn’t an obstacle or necessary evil, but primarily purposed by God to accomplish his mission? Mobilizing transformed people in the public square is essential for a movement. Of all the domains in a city, work may hold the biggest piece of the mission field.
It’s not just about your church, but about pursuing a movement together. Connecting with other local churches committed to an “every man, woman, and child” vision is essential to taking responsibility for your geography. Who will you link arms with to drive true gospel transformation in your city? Collaboration is the engine for everything we do.
